Experience
I am a tutor in the Lewis University Writing Center, and have also been tutoring on a volunteer/casual basis for most of my college career. I love tutoring because it gives me a chance to work one-on-one with students and learners to better understand what precisely they are having difficulty with and to work on what interests them about any given subject. I have taken a number of education classes, in addition to a tutoring seminar/training course to better understand strategies and methods of tutoring. I have been an honors student throughout the entirety of my academic career, and I am currently also a graduate assistant to the College of Education at Lewis. My composite score for the ACT was a 29.

Hobbies
I am an avid reader - some of my favorite authors include Emily Bronte, Oscar Wilde, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. But I also enjoy children/young adult fiction - the Harry Potter series, The Hunger Games triology, Artemis Fowl, and Lev Grossman's The Magicians are a few of my favorites. Aside from reading, I also enjoy creative writing and in high school I was a member of several clubs including choir, colorguard, and drama.
